Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy outlines production times, dispatch and shipping terms for orders placed with Capital Badges.
1. Production Times
Stock Items
Where stock is available, orders are normally despatched within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that even where items are shown as “in stock”, there may not be sufficient quantity to fulfil your order.
Made-to-Order Products
For made-to-order products, production times commence upon our receipt of written approval of artwork and confirmation of order.
- Title Badges: up to 4 weeks
- ID Bureau Service products: up to 2 weeks
- Other made-to-order products (e.g. Crested Name Badges, Lapel Badges, Embroidered Badges, Printed Lanyards): 3–4 weeks
- Workwear, PPE & display products: dependent upon product type and artwork approval
2. Postage & Packing (UK)
Free P&P is available on all UK orders over £150.00 (Royal Mail 2nd Class, single UK address, single delivery).
For orders under £150.00 (UK):
- £5.99 – Royal Mail 1st Class (typically 1–2 working days)
- £4.99 – Royal Mail 2nd Class (typically 3–5 working days)
- £11.99 – Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier Service (typically next working day)
ID Card Orders
- Small quantities sent in letter format: £1.99
- Larger quantities requiring parcel packaging: £4.99
All prices exclude VAT.
3. Partial Deliveries
We do not normally despatch partial deliveries. If you request partial deliveries, additional P&P charges may apply.
4. International Orders
International P&P charges depend upon destination and package weight. For non-UK sales, cleared payment must be received prior to despatch.
5. Delivery Agents
Orders are despatched using Royal Mail and/or courier services as appropriate. All deliveries are subject to the due performance of delivery agents, which is beyond our control.
6. Delays
Production and delivery timescales are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate with you should any significant delay arise.
